My name is Andy Thompson
I am a work of art. I've been playing drums since I could walk so music is a huge part of
my life. I love to read and write about spirituality and politics, but mostly I love to fish.
My goal is to have an Active Backgrounds T-shirt on everyone's back, and to live this life in preparation for the next. I am doing my best to interpret and manifest the vision in my mind so I can knock on Gods door and say, "this is what I did with the life you gave me, let's pull up a cloud together and enjoy the ripple effect we've created."

I am a work of art. I love to swim, paint
(canvas' not houses), bake and the occasional sewing project.
Helping Andy share his vision of love through Active Backgrounds has been an amazing journey. I think my favorite thing has been watching Andy grow and transform through this project. He cares so deeply about the greater good; more than anyone I have ever known. His constant inner challenges, trying to make himself a better person and the world a better place, not only are admirable but an inspiration for all of us.
So the next time you're in line at the drive-thru, pay for the person behind you. The next time you walk down the street, look someone in the eye and smile. Be "active" in the "background" of others lives. That is what Andy is creating with this idea... a way for us all to share and connect with each other, without saying a word. I am thankful to be a part of it.

My name is Jay Anderson
I am a work of art. I enjoy travelling, having quality time with my
family and friends, observing nature, and reading books that inspire and challenge me. Above all,
my passion is playing guitar and writing and singing songs that have purpose.
Being apart of Active Backgrounds with Andy and Janelle has been the most wonderful learning, growing, and healing experience for me and I feel so much gratitude down to the core of my soul to be on board.
